Who we are
Jaken Finance Group is a private credit lender headquartered in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, financing non-owner-occupied investment real estate in all 50 states. We fund fix-and-flip projects, DSCR rental purchases and refinances, bridge deals, new construction, and commercial real estate — with underwriting driven by the asset and the exit, not the borrower's W-2.
Investors work with us because we move at deal speed. Most fix-and-flip and bridge files close in 7–10 business days, and select programs require no third-party appraisal for experienced sponsors with documented comps. Credit-flexible underwriting with no minimum FICO on select programs. Approval is collateral-first — driven by ARV, LTC, scope, liquidity, and exit strategy. We may pull credit to review trends, but FICO is not the primary approval driver.

Jason Taken — Principal
Jaken Finance Group is led by Jason Taken, a licensed Illinois attorney and licensed Realtor. That combination shapes how we underwrite: every file gets reviewed by someone who understands both the legal mechanics of a real estate transaction — title, entity structure, foreclosure timelines, lien position — and the on-the-ground market realities that determine whether a flip or rental actually pencils.
